The most interesting part of history and culture of the city is connected with the ancient Thracians, who lived in these places. Here are found four sanctuaries, 12 dolmens and 10 mound necropolises. The most interesting monuments of the cult was the sanctuary "Beglik Tash", which embodies the Thracian cult of the sun.
