Sozopol number 6 among the best destinations in Europe

In 2017 Bulgaria received incredible recognition for tourism. Sozopol won sixth place in the ranking of the best European destinations where part take 20 destinations.

TOP 10 ranking following destinations: Porto, Portugal; Milan, Italy; Gdansk, Poland; Athens, Greece; San Sebastian, Spain; Vienna, Austria; Stari Grad, Croatia; Basel, Switzerland; Madrid, Spain. The Black Sea resort of Sozopol surpasses places like Basel, Old Town, Madrid, Vienna and Paris.

Thanks to active voters from around the world, Sozopol ranks as first in the ranking. Competent in tourism say that this will contribute to an even stronger season for Sozopol. The votes cast were just over 200 000, and the dedicated city page visited 426,859 people.

Bulgaria is becoming more popular destination for tourists from around the world, and Sozopol is one of the cities that attracts many with modernity, tradition, nature, sea.
