 A chain of low hills belonging to Srednogorie are Bakadzhitsite. They are located some 15 km from the town. Yambol. Their average altitude is around 300 meters, and the whole chain is long nearly 12 km with a width between 5 and 10 kilometers. Asanbair is the highest peak of Bakadzhitsite. There is also radiopeleynata station Bakadzhik. Bakadzhik name derives from Bach and Achik - Turkish words that mean height from which can be seen far away. It is also the Bulgarian name of the hills - views. In 1878 on the occasion of the liberation of Yambol in this area was built the church of St. Alexander Nevsky - the first monument of the Bulgarian-Russian friendship in Bulgaria. The area offers several lodges and tourist complexes that provide visitors the opportunity to combine rest and treatment.
