In Tsarevo is held festival of bee pollen and honey dew. He is known by the name Kingdom of honeydew honey. Held in the period 1 August 10th. Every year the exhibition is held and collect beekeepers from around the country to be included in the event. During the festival they represent different types of bee products to guests and residents of Tsarevo. In Strandja is mostly mined honey dew. Favorable climate creates conditions for this. Honeydew honey is obtained from mildew on the leaves of lime and oak. Hence its name. Using insect downy mildew was obtained. They pierce the leaves of the plants and feed with part of the sweet juice, while the other portion was separated as sticky liquid foliar.
When no nectar plants around the bees, they collected and converted mana in honey. Honeydew honey is extremely polezem and healing properties. It is rich in carbohydrates, minerals, monosaccharides, vitamins and folic acid.
