The central mineral beach in Velingrad is the first in Bulgaria but in Europe the size of the pool as olimpiiski. Completed in the summer of 1937 thanks to Mayor Joseph Shniter that making great efforts to uplift the resort. The pools are two in number, one being 5 meters long and one meter 33. At the opening of the beach is held the first contest Queen of the Beach. It undergoes a great success and is held in the next three years.
The central mineral beach is located in the spa resort. The beach resort has three swimming pools - one is very warm and small, others are average, too warm and great with cold water. The complex offers umbrellas, lounges, parking, restaurants, a lifeguard and a doctor, and for entertainment there is a water slide.
The central mineral pool open during the summer season from June 1 to October 1. The price for adults is 4 lev.
