 Berkovitsa is located in the northwestern part of the mountain. The town is surrounded by stunning scenery, clean air here and beauty are in abundance. Ethnographic Museum is located in Berkovitsa Sarbinska house, it is located in the city center. The building is typical National Revival architecture, was built in the 19th century, but has preserved its authentic appearance. Impression you make beautiful motifs carved cabinets and doors of the house. Since 1992, one-storey building hosts the largest ethnographic collection in the municipality of Montana. Rich and fairly comprehensive exposure will give you the opportunity to learn about life, traditions and culture of the people of northwestern Bulgaria. Here you can see thousands of unique representatives of crafts, folk traditions and artistic creation. You will enjoy the lavish abundance of flowers in the making of carpets, clothing and costumes, as well as jewelry, and in things of everyday life. During the Turkish rule was developed Teteven crafts center, the most widespread was the production of pottery.
