 In Melnik in early February is traditionally held festival of Melnik wine - Gold cluster. The festival aims to present some of the finest wines of renowned wineries in the region. Town guests enjoy a variety of wines and traditional folklore program, which presents local customs and traditions. The festival begins with a gala ceremony that is done for health and fertility. Guests can drink for free from the cellar. Of them ever drank even Churchill. The most common variety is wide Melnik. The fact that only grows in this region makes it unique. In 2017 the festival will be held on 11 and 12 February.
