Burgas History Museum

The museum exhibition presents original exhibits from the economic, social and cultural development of the city in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Presented original works of Bulgarian icons masters of Bulgarian Revival and unique examples of early printed books from the Renaissance period.

It is presented and a rich gallery of photos of Burgas in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Here you can see the earliest engravings of the city from 1829 and 1854, numerous photos of the creation of the first parish, the opening of the first Bulgarian school and the opening of the first church temple in the city.

On the top floor is presented exposure of Fine and Applied Arts of XVIII-XIX centuries - bronze sculptures, porcelain and glass pieces from the era of the late Baroque and classicism.
