 Cathedral "St. Cyril and Methodius "is the largest, oldest and one of the most beautiful Christian churches in Burgas. The foundations were laid in 1895., And was completed in 1907. It was built as a basilica, the temple impressive architecture and magnificent dome. The interior is divided into five pairs of marble columns with ornate interior. The vault consists of four parts with unique frescoes depicting Lord Jesus Christ shestkrili angels around him, the Virgin Mary, the Archangel Gabriel, etc., The work of famous Bulgarian artists prof. Gyudzhenov and prof. Kozhuharov. Beautifully carved iconostasis was made in 1930. by master carpenter Krum Kosharevska.
