 Melnik pyramids are located above the small picturesque town of Melnik, within the Pirin Mountain. They occupy about 50 sq. Km area. Melnik Pyramids are rock formations, which are among the most interesting in Bulgaria. Conditionally divided into three parts - Karlanovski, Melnik and Melnik Pyramids. They are formed by erosion and continues to change shape and to this day.
