 Near Stara Zagora Spa is located on the beautiful natural phenomenon Holy Mother Step. Legends tell that the place is a sanctuary that is associated with pagan religious rites years ago. The area becomes a holy place after the adoption of Christianity in these lands. The myth of the area was born due to very strong whimsical notch above the cliff-like trail of leg one where the water dries up and the life force field. It was built years ago, a small chapel named after Virgin Mary. Nearby there is an ancient quarry, processing of different materials that are used in public and private buildings in the ancient Augusta Traiana.
