 Opened in 2010 Museum of horses and equestrian sport is located in Stara Zagora. With help from the Thracian University in the city in 2010 exhibits were moved and restored in a special building at the university. In two rooms are separated exposures. The exhibits of archaeological finds in Bulgarian lands are shown in the smaller room. There are still included artifacts from the Roman period, a little literature fixation with breeding race horses, photos of breeds of horses bred in Bulgaria, a collection of awards Equestrian. In the second room you can see the royal carriages, saddles, valtrapi symbols of princely and royalty until 1945, ammunition carts. One of the most interesting exhibits are the chariots possessing historical value. Before being exhibited in the museum, carriage stored in Bulgarian cinematography and were used for shooting in different movies.
