The success of Bulgarian sportsmen and history of native sport can be traced in the main exposure housed at the National stadium "Vasil Levski" Museum of the sport. Under the name "Traditions and part of the success of the Bulgarian sport" exhibition includes many curious forms - documents, photos, sports awards and medals.
Unique in its character is an original photo from 1894 of arrivals from Switzerland (at the invitation of Minister of Education) gymnastics teachers who work in large schools in the country laid the foundations of modern sport in the country.
Very interesting and a copy of the first Bulgarian bicycle saved items and awards gelemite Bulgarian wrestlers Dan Koloff and Nikola Petrov. Favorite children's sport shirt is donated to the museum by Hristo Stoichkov. The museum exhibits more than 500 in number and among them can be seen much more personal items, awards and trophies and medals won by our athletes.
Museum of Sport is on the list of 100 national object of SIP.
