 In the small town of Melnik is Wine Museum. Arranged in several rooms is rich exposure and thus the opportunity to trace the history of winemaking and wine over millennia. The exhibition includes a collection of authentic dishes, tools, equipment, technologies for the production of brandy and wine collections of mosaics, ancient photographs and more. Visitors can taste the wines in the tasting room. In built on an ancient technology Melnik special room-cellar is arranged and open a permanent exhibition of specially selected cellar. They are producing wineries of the region Middle Struma and intended for sale. Currently the collection has about 400 bottles among which are expensive and exhibits. The museum has received the Gold Award for Contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage and tradition of 2013 by the magazine Tourism and leisure. The museum is located and easily accessible location - close to downtown. Proceed over the bridge and go up towards the hotel BULGARY. The museum is open every day from 10:00 hours to 19:00.
