 In Yambol is held every year the national holiday of Christmas carol in the form of competition. The aim of the festival is to educate national consciousness, to promote folk customs in winter, to promote national identity through dance and singing Bulgarian folk heritage. The jury is composed of experts in the field of folk art and ethnography. It assesses and awards prizes to the groups. The organizers of the festival are the Municipality of Yambol, NS Probuda-1909 - Yambol, REKITS- Yambol, NS Zora - 1945 - Yambol.
