Hristo Botev National Museum was opened in 1944 and is part of a hundred tourist sites of our country. The museum is in honor of the great Bulgarian revolutionary and poet, is located in the center of his hometown - Kalofer. The picturesque town is nestled in the southern part of the mountain, about fifty kilometers from Plovdiv. National Museum consists of a house - museum, exhibition hall and a monument of the great poet and sculptor of his mother Ivanka Boteva.
Hosted exposure is especially built for this purpose house. It was built at the house where he lived and grew up taken. My father's house of Hristo Botev was burned in 1877, when the whole town was burned. At a later stage using the local population and the patriotic people of the whole country is built building, a copy of the family house of the artist.
