National Polytechnic Museum is located on "Opalchenska" 66. In it, an area of 1000 square meters, are shown about 1,000 exhibits from 22 000-dniya fund the museum. The first idea for a museum of art in our country was born in Ruse, the creation in 1885 of the first technological company in Bulgaria. Realzizira idea into practice until 1957, when posed Polytechnic Museum. Initially it was under the direction of Sciences, and later - the Ministry of Education and Culture. A separate building houses the museum since 1992. The museum was among the founders of the automobile club "Retro" (created in 1989) which brings together owners of old cars and motorcycles across the country. The club has branches in many cities in the country and organizes many events - rallies, motor rally and auto festivals.
The National Polytechnic Museum exhibits are grouped into several collections: transport mechanisms music, photo and cinema, time measuring, optics, sound recording and reproducing, computing, survey instruments, sewing machines, communication equipment and others.
Hours: 9:00 to 17:00 pm (frame work to 16:30)
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday
Note: The museum is open on weekends after appointment for group visits.
