  In honor of the hundredth anniversary of the liberation of Pleven from Ottoman slavery monument was built Panorama "Pleven Epic 1877" It was built in 1977, is built on a hillside in the Skobelev Park-Museum, where during the third assault of Pleven, this place was the battlefield. Impressive monument is unique in the Balkans and was built only 11 months. The appearance of the building resembles a truncated cone, placed on four stylized bayonet. Panorama has four halls, which are shown impressive paintings, which depict scenes from the Russo-Turkish war, moments of our history, and authentic artifacts and weapons. Paintings are works of Russian and Bulgarian artists who cleverly combined actual events with attractive artistic presentation. The museum has a lecture hall where lectures are held in several languages. Here you will find souvenir stands and information materials. Panorama is open year round for visitors.
