Batak Lake is the sixth largest city in Bulgaria. Located in the Western Rhodopes. The dam is 4 km from Batak, 12 km from Velingrad and 7 km from Rakitovo. It lies on the River Matnitsa. This is a favorite place to relax in the mountains, including comfort and relaxation and year-round fishing opportunities. On the west coast the dam is located Tsigov Chark. Letovishte board is located on the other side - it is quieter than Saint Chark.
