 Sliven Regional Historical Museum is located on the main street in town, in a beautiful building. The museum was founded in 1913. The exhibition Treasures - Museum- memory renovated and opened in 2008. The exhibition has included original monuments. Some of them are related to people's lives and are of global importance. The arrangement of the exhibits is a collector's principle. On the first floor rooms consist of bronze and marble sculptures from the time of Rome, ornaments made of bone, objects of antiquity and the Middle Ages. Many important archaeological monument is the inscription in honor of Zeus on a pedestal. To the collection of tools has exported agricultural implements and craft tools that are also used in the Middle Ages and antiquity. On the second floor of the exhibition is represented by a collection of utensils and ornaments of beaten copper. The collection of Renaissance weapon is unique. It includes sword Khitov, firearms, flint tools and scimitars. Valley of the Kings is presented on the top floor. Among the exhibits are luxurious pottery, decorations for horse trappings and many others. The most valuable are the two silver rhytons. The museum is exposed and the second golden mask found in Thrace, a gold signet ring and others.
