One of the beautiful and endangered places in the park is Tisovitsa reserve. Located poolside Tisovitsa River, near the village of Bulgari - Bourgas municipality. One of the deposits of yew in Bulgaria is in this reserve where bears his name. To preserve the natural beauty it was declared a protected site in 1990, the area is 749.3 hectares. Here visitors are allowed in strictly defined paths with companion Inspector of the reserve. In Tisovitsa you can see rare and endangered species of plants and animals. Of plants is widespread Strandzha periwinkle perennial forests of beech and oak, green bushes Strandja laurel, beech. At this place, different species of birds, amphibians, mammals and reptiles. They have a crucial and historic sites - writing stone, cobblestone and Marzevsko Kale where they discovered interesting ruins of ancient Thracians.
