In the home of the chronicler of the April Uprising and the champion in three uprisings, President of the National Assembly of liberated Bulgaria Zahari Stoyanov Medven, are the life and activities. Personal belongings of Zahari Stoyanov - hooded cloak, vuliyata - decorated with honeysuckle, ashtrays with partridges suitcase - satellite of this eternal wanderer, pistols and dagger occupy a central place in the exhibition. Zahari Stoyanov is known both for his revolutionary activities and his work with literary and political career. He has written books on Vasil Levski, Hristo Botev, Stefan Karadja and Hadji Dimitar, arguably his most famous work is "Notes on Bulgarian Uprisings". His first literary work is dedicated to unity and led the first ruler of liberated Bulgaria - Alexander Battenberg. Some of the aliases, which is known are: Baron von Tikvesh, Baron Lulcho, old rebel, Stoyan shepherd.
He began his adult life as a shepherd Dzhendo Stoyanov Dzhedev recorded in Bulgarian history with the name Zachary Stoyanov and deeds of the revolutionary writer and politician. In 1885 he led the Unification of the Principality of Bulgaria with Eastern Rumelia as chairman of BTTSRK. Enter the National Assembly in 1886, and during 1888-1889 he was Chairman. In his native village Medven the square next to his house was placed a monument to this outstanding Bulgarian.

Това не е родната къща на Захари Стоянов, а къща-музей. Да, живял е в нея, но не е родната му къща.
