  Blue Pool is a natural phenomenon, which is located in Eastern Stara Planina, nearMedven. A small waterfall with a drop height of about 6 meters, located along the riverMedven. The river is not very large, its sources are more than 10 km above Medven and flows southeast as the river flows into Kamchia. Earth layers around the river bed are strongly folded and very interesting. The name "Blue Pool" comes from the beautiful bluewater that collects under the waterfall in a small lake with a depth of 8-10 m Bathing inpools is prohibited. The waterfall can be reached by trail marked the end of Medven.The entire route is traveled for 40 minutes in one direction. The forest is very beautiful, the air is pure and gentle breathing. The area is a favorite spot for nature lovers strollingin the region and the nearby larger cities.

 The charm of the waterfalls contribute to the glory of Medven as a destination for tourism, since it allows for an active holiday guests of the village.
