Southeast of the village of Mihalich, under the rocky terrace area Aypando is carved rock church. 14 stairs down to it. On both sides of the stairs are surrounded by almost vertical carved rock that forms the open corridor with a width of 2 m at the beginning and gradually expand hanging. Two niches are carved into its walls and above are semicircular and resemble windows. The church is entirely carved into the rock. It represents a real church with arched triconchal roughly shaped walls. The church has many architectural elements that are characteristic of city buildings. Church in the village of Mihalich probably was made by monks, hermits in X -XI century. Churches with similar architectures can be found in the Lake Van in eastern Turkey. Declared a cultural monument of national importance in 1968 is the rock church at the village of Mihalich.
