 Turtles is rock cult complex situated near the village Fotinovo municipality Municipality. According to prof. Raduncheva, stone forms are made of civilization from the Stone Age. During their occupation of the Eastern Rhodopes, it has created many megalithic sites. Carved into the rocks near the village Fotinovo forms like shells of turtles. Just hence the name of the sanctuary. Rock turtles are numerous, but three of the forms vary. From the fourth form are only grooves that portray the head and flippers of the turtle. The largest size is a turtle measures 7.6 meters to 5.35 meters. The array is huge and goes after village Krilatitsa after turning the bridge along the road towards the village. In Bulgaria are rarely seen such rock deposits of horizontal type. Turtle is the largest such field. More than 2 acres are rocky areas. According to archaeologists comprehensive study of the phenomenon will lead to further clarification on religious and mythological system of people from eneolith.
