 End Starossel megalith rock is called Solar gates - Momini stones. The ancient Thracians pay homage to this place as an entrance that leads to the afterlife. The gate consists of two huge, egg-shaped pieces, leaning into each other, thus forming passage. In Homeric tradition this passage, where the sun sets, the souls of the dead pass and go into the Beyond. There are no data whether it's manmade or is the work only of nature, but the Starossel region is full of many Thracian megaliths and temples. Very close is also Chetinyova mound - a large Thracian tomb of V i VI century BC .. It is considered that there was buried Sitalk - Thracian ruler. Another legend tells you that the name of the place is due to the story of the love between boy and girl in the village nearby. It was so in love that violated the established order at the time and indulge in their favorite without become lawful wife. Consequently, the family rejected her and cursed. The girl desperately fled from the village and the curse of relatives caught in January. Facing the heavens she was petrified and so formed the rock in this form. Thus came the name and Momini stones.
