 Borovets is one of the oldest mountain resorts. Located in the majestic Rila Mountain. Ski resort season starts in mid-December and ends in April. There are three ski areas - Markudzhik Yastrebetz and Sitnyakovo. The highest zone is Markudjik. The tracks ma Markudjik and Yastrebetz challenging for every skier. They were conducted various competitions. Lovers of snowboarding can descend on some of the slopes in Borovets. Snow reaches 2 meters in high season and has offers good conditions for freestylers.
