Kamenska Barchina is a natural rock formation located about 12 km from the town of Malko Tarnovo, Tsarevo on the way. The local dialect means Kamenska Barchina stone hill. Where you can meet more as the Thracian Sanctuary Stone. Sanctuary is a complex of rock formations in the area rare conglomerate rocks, some of which are further processed by the ancient Thracians. Natural stone complex was sacred to the ancient peoples who inhabited the mystical Strandja. In ancient Thracian civilization stone symbolizes divine power, eternal and permanent. Studies of the archaeologists show that approximately V century BC, this place was greeted sunrise of God - Sun and performed rituals in his honor on the day of summer solstice. Same as the Thracian sanctuary near Primorsko Beglik Tash and there is a narrow slit at the base of a cliff, about 4 meters high with mushroom, called "squeeze". Thracians believed that everyone passed through Proviraloto will enjoy good health and will be delivered from adversity during the year. The place is your favorite part of the rock complex for small and large scale and - mushroom amazes with its odd shape. A few meters from the sponge is another rock formation with a domed shape, illuminated during the day by the sun. It can be seen carved rings and solar sun discs, traces of ancient rituals associated with the worship of God - Sun and Apollo. In many places, seeing and round altars carved into the rocks. According to archaeologists, they are used for magic rituals libation liquids (wine, blood, milk) and preparation of "holy wine". Natural sanctuary is not very high peak, but it has a magnificent view of the Strandja peaks Bosnia Gradishteto and Papia. It can be reached fairly easily - 12 km from the town of Malko Tarnovo, towards the village Gramatikovo at main road Malko Tarnovo - Tsarevo reaches the "stone." Here ends the asphalt road.
