 Botev Peak is located in the central part of Stara Planina, near Karlovo and Kalofer. Is 2376 meters high and is the highest peak of the mountain known as the mountain. Before 1950, when the peak is named after the great poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev, the name of the mountain peak was Yumrukchal. The tip is a spacious pasture with a rock. In the southern hills of Mount Botev Paradise rocks are located. They are very famous and popular place among lovers of alpine climbing and professionally. Here in the Eden area and is the highest waterfall on the Balkan peninsula, known as Praskaloto. The waterfall is incredibly beautiful, and its height reaches 124.5 meters. Botev Peak is part of Dzhendema Reserve, known for their wealth of endemic species distributed only in the reserve. Here, the highest point of the Balkan Mountains is built meteorological station and a television tower. The tower has been operational since 1966 and supplies radio and television 65% of the lands of our country. The most accessible route for the conquest of Mount Botev is a starting point Kalofer in southern mountain range. Botev Peak is part of the Hundred National Tourist Sites of Bulgaria.
