 Ruen Peak is the highest point of Osogovo, located in the Bulgarian part of the mountain. Prior to 1997 reached the top was passing through the point of the Border Police, because then peak Rouen fell in our part of the border with Macedonia. Peak is 2251 meters high and ranks fifth among the leaders in height of Bulgaria. Comb is rounded. Starting points for the ascent of Mount Rouen are three beech hut or chalet Osogovo. Both cabins are located in the area Plaviloto, it is located approximately 20 km from Kyustendil. Once you conquer the champion of Osogovo before you will find incredible views of the Rila and Pirin, you can enjoy the pristine scenery and fresh air, which will certainly contribute to a fulfilling experience. Ruen Peak is part of the Hundred National Tourist Sites of Bulgaria.
