 Zoo in Blagoevgrad was born the idea in 1959. Then in the urban garden is brought eagle - the first animal, not long after was brought and lion. Several years later, the zoo is ready and earns. Today in Blagoevgrad zoo is home to more than 300 animals. Among them are representatives of exotic species and the Balkan. The zoo is open every day during the week from morning to night.
