Zoo Lovech was established in the 60s of the twentieth century and is located in the park "Stratesh." On an area of 110 acres grown 420 animals and birds from 74 species representing all continents. The zoo is the second largest in Bulgaria. Favorite place to visit of Lovech citizens and guests of the city, it has a direct pedestrian link to the Alley of the Bulgarian-Russian friendship monument White, Black monument of Vasil Levski monument, museum "Vasil Levski" and AHR "Varosha".
