 Misionis is a medieval fortress, which is located only 7 km from Targovishte in place croupus kale. Fortress in the past constituted a large ancient fortress town. This was the prototype of Targovishte. From open kasnosrednavekovni remains of walls that are 3-4 meters high, remains of buildings from the church baptistery, guard rooms. Districts covered the slopes of the hill. The second Christian church basilica type is located in one of them. A permanent archaeological exposition of the Regional History Museum in the city where you can see the finds.
