  Each year during the first week of June, the town of Kazanlak is domakin of the RoseFestival. Traditional festive program is very rich and has a great interest in large and small. You'll witness the love of "picking" and "Rose" taking place in an authenticatmosphere in the magical sounds of the voices of Kazanlak grandmothers and the sounds of bagpipes and drums.

You will be able to try the rose jam and rose liqueur will enjoy the beauty of local girls whoare struggling with a smile for the "Queen of Roses." Festival ends with the International Folklore Festival "Youth of the Balkans" in which young people from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro presented its folk culture and traditions.
